Our Projects

Each year, the Jaycees of the Quad Cities host many programs and events for our members and the greater community. Our larger events have become some of our favorite and remain a part of our annual calendar, while our M-Nights and shorter-term projects change each year.

Jaycees Bridal Expo

Saturday, January 26, 2019

9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

RiverCenter - 136 E. 3rd St.

Downtown Davenport

The Jaycees of the Quad Cities have been putting on our annual Bridal Expo since the 1970’s, and we’ve grown to be the largest Expo in the Quad-Cities. In 2011 our Bridal Expo won top Jaycee fundraising project in the nation, and is recognized regionally by our vendors as a top-notch event. We've raised over $500,000 for our community since the project’s inception, and helped thousands of brides plan the wedding of their dreams. The Bridal Expo is held every January, yet planning is a year-round event.

Jaycee Santa

The goal of the Jaycee Santa program is to spread the joys of Christmas to as many underprivileged children as possible. This is one of our most exciting and longstanding program for the needy children and families in the Quad-Cities. We work with local schools and shelters to provide school supplies in the fall, and Christmas gifts and clothing around the holidays. We choose a few nights each year to meet up, get our lists, and go crazy shopping!

Brew Ha Ha

September 2019 TBD

Brew Ha Ha, an annual tradition in the Quad Cities will be held in September 2019 (TBD) from 1:00-5:00 p.m. in LeClaire Park. The tasting event features more than 200 beers and includes a Cabot cheese tasting.  The event also includes live music, comedy and games.

In 2014, operations of Brew Ha Ha transferred to the Jaycees of the Quad Cities. Brew Ha Ha has been hosted by WQPT since 2000 to raise funds for children’s programming.

“We have been looking to expand our educational outreach activities and turning Brew Ha Ha over to the Jaycees allows us to focus on our mission of educational outreach for children and families,” WQPT Chief Development Officer Jamie Lange said.. “The Jaycees is a well-respected, established non-profit organization who shares our mission of education and, supporting children and families. The partnership is ideal.”

Brew Ha Ha proceeds will continue to benefit WQPT’s children’s program and will expand to include other charitable initiatives of the Jaycees. Contact us at brewhaha@jayceesqc.org for questions, more information, or to volunteer for this event.
