Hand in Hand serves children and young adults of all abilities, including those with disabilities was granted $1000 to help fund their accessibility and safety project adding a new elevator, smoke alarms and other features for individuals with disabilities. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families was granted $1000 to provide free NAMI Basics program for parents and caregivers of children and adolescents who are mentally ill. Palmer College of Chiropractic, Operation Palmer Promotes Play (OP3)

Palmer College of Chiropractic, Operation Palmer Promotes Play (OP3) a student-lead volunteering group who found a need to rebuild and revitalize Project Renewal’s Sister Concetta Park was granted $1000 to assist in the completion of Phase III of their project. WQPT

WQPT through the “Ready to Learn Initiative” WQPT provides basic training to parents, providers and teachers on child development, age appropriate programming, limited television viewing, reading strategies and hands on activities. Moline Community Development Corporation

Moline Community Development Corporation, serving the Illinois Quad Cities Area was granted $1000 for the Riverside Park project which will allow them to create the first fully accessible playground for children with mobility disabilities in the heart of Moline. Ballet Quad Cities

Ballet Quad Cities who presents an interactive bullying prevention program was granted $1000 to support their in-school dance education where students watch a ballet performance of The Ugly Duckling. In celebration of our 80th Anniversary, Jaycees of the Quad Cities provided eight $1,000 Mini Impact Grants to area organizations doing good work in the community. The Jaycees of the Quad Cities annually support organiations throughout the region including but not limited to the YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln, Penas Boxing Club and WQPT.
