What time is Brew Ha Ha?
*Check - in begins at 12:00 p.m.. Beer will be available for purchase in our reception area for the first 1,000 guests from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Sampling begins at 1:00 p.m.
Do you have to be 21?
Yes, only those age 21 and over with proper ID will be allowed entry. This includes volunteers and vendors.
When will tickets be available?
Our ticket site is now open. Be sure to get your tickets early to guarantee your entry! Tickets go on sale on or before August 1 so mark your calendar for next year.
How much are tickets?
$30 in advance online/$35 at the door. Check back annually mid-Summer for a limited number of early bird discounted rates.
I won tickets at an event how can I redeem them?
Please email our email address and put in the subject line that you won a BHH Voucher, the event name/date/number of tickets and your name and email address. One of our volunteers will then enter your name in our ticketing system and send you a comp code to redeem your tickets. The voucher must be presented in order to receive your comp code.
What is included in the admission price?
All admission tickets include a tasting glass (which will be filled to 2 ounces), unlimited tastings of beers, live music entertainment and the option to come an hour early for pre-event entertainment and beer sales. Food is available on site for purchase.
Do you accept credit cards or checks?
Credit/debit cards are accepted at the gate, online and at retail outlets (subject to store policy). Online ticket sales and outlet sales cease on the Wednesday prior to the event to ensure our guest list is accurate at check-in. After Wednesday, tickets will be available at the gate only for $35 per person.
Do Designated Drivers need a ticket?
Yes. All persons entering the festival will need a ticket. Stop in at the Designated Driver to receive small gift items, plus you’ll have the opportunity to sign up to win larger gifts with drawings. "Designated drivers” receive free bottled water. Designated Driver’s ticket price is the same as general admission.
How do I print my ticket/s?
Online tickets are simply your email confirmation from EventBrite.com. Please bring this for admission on event day. We will have an entrance for online orders and will search by first name/last name.
Is re-entry allowed?
No. Once you leave the festival you cannot re-enter.
How can I see what beers are going to be offered in advance?
Jaycees of the Quad Cities is a 100% volunteer run organization. We work hard on our relationships with our distributors to bring you the best samples available and the best takes time. Therefore, please check our website often for more information on our confirmed beer list.
WHAT IF I CAN’T GO NOW?
Will the event be cancelled or moved due to inclement weather?
This event is held or rain or shine. Please watch the weather forecast and be prepared. No refunds are given. Please remember this is a charity event and proceeds benefits several local organizations who count on our genouristy annually.
Can I get a refund?
No. This event is non-refundable. Proceeds benefit local charities who count on our genouristy annually.
Can other people use my ticket?
Yes, but they must be age 21, and provide a valid photo ID for age verification
Where Do I Park?
Free public parking is available throughout downtown Davenport. Parking garages are located at Harrison Street and 3rd Street. Please read all signage informing patrons of the parking ramps and how to pay for your parking. We will not be responsible for parking tickets! Public transportation, taxis and Uber will also drop you off by the Freight House Farmer’s Market located on River Drive between Brady Street and Western Avenue.
Why is there a line to get in?
Many beer enthusiasts line up well in advance for Brew Ha Ha, and there will most likely be a line at the entrance. An ID check of all who enter the festival is required. The line will move quickly if you have your ID and tickets out to make the age verification process run smoothly. You can also skip the line and arrive at 12pm for our Hoppy Hour pre-event festivities.
What forms of ID are accepted?
Acceptable forms of ID are driver’s license, state-issued ID, military ID or passport.
Is re-entry allowed?
No. Once you leave the festival you cannot re-enter.
Can I bring food/drink into the festival?
No outside food or drink is allowed into the festival with the exception of water bottles and pretzel/snack necklaces. All attendees are subject to a light search. Food vendors are available on site.
Can I bring my own chair?
Yes, seating will be limited, so attendees are welcome to bring camping chairs.
Are pets and children allowed?
We love pets and children as much as you but it’s best that they stay home while you enjoy our human-only, adult-only event. No under 21 will be admitted into the park while alcohol is on site.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHILE I’M THERE
Is this like an unlimited giant bar?
The goal of Brew Ha Ha is to allow attendees to taste a variety of new brands and different styles of beer. To allow guests to taste, samples are poured in two (2) ounce tasting portions. Please do not abuse the process to ensure everyone with a ticket can sample their beers of choice. The proceeds raise money for local charities.
How can breweries run out of beer?
Occasionally, a brewery will run out of a certain beer. The beer may be overly popular with the festival crowd. Luckily, there are hundreds of beers to sample. If you miss a beer this year, you will have to remember to try it early the next year!
Can I get a full pint?
Some beer will be available for purchase at the on-site store for $5.00 per 12 oz cup. All proceeds benefit local charities and non-profit organizations.
What and where is the entertainment?
For 2019, musical entertainment is provided by Wicked Liz and the Bellyswirls and Hoppy Hour entertainment is provided by comedian Nick Mielke.
A covered first aid tent is provided for minor cuts, scrape and illness. It is staffed by volunteer Nurses and EMT’s. Emergency services will be called for more serious incidents.
Are there any cabs available?
Taxi Cabs and Uber are available. Please allow 10-15 minutes for pick up.

Who hosts Brew Ha Ha?
Brew Ha Ha is hosted by the Jaycees of the Quad Cities.
Prior to 2014, Brew Ha Ha was hosted by WQPT-Quad Cities PBS since it’s inception in 2002. WQPT continues to benefit from a portion of the proceeds from Brew Ha Ha as well as supporting other local charities. If you are interested in learning more about the Jaycees of the Quad Cities stop by our booth at Brew Ha Ha. For 2019, proceeds will also be benefiting the Community Foundation's Disaster Relief Fund to assist downtown businesses with their flood recovery processes.

Can I volunteer?
Yes, we rely on the help of over 200 volunteers for Brew Ha Ha. Volunteers receive a free t-shirt and a complimentary general admission ticket to the festival. Sign up to volunteer.
All guests of Brew Ha Ha are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe, responsible means of transportation before leaving the facility. Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event may be denied entry to the facility. Any guest found intoxicated within the event and causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences.
Pursuant to Iowa Smokefree Air Act LeClaire Park is a smoke-free facility. A designated smoking area is not available at this time.
City of Davenport Police Officers are on site to monitor the safety of our guests.
Prohibited items include, but are NOT limited to:
Weapons (i.e. knives, pepper spray, stun-guns, any concealed weapons, firearms, etc.)
Fireworks, smoke bombs, etc.
Backpacks, suitcases, large beach bags, etc.
Skateboards, roller skates, ice skates, use of roller shoes, etc.
Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
Other items as determined by facility management
